OUR STORY

Chefs With Purpose

In October 2017, a collective of dedicated chefs united to assist Chef Elijah Addo in orchestrating a high-level fundraising dinner, aimed at generating funds to provide nourishment for over 5,000 vulnerable Ghanaians on World Food Day. This event also served as a tribute to Chef Elijah’s prestigious award, bestowed upon him by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, UK.

During this remarkable occasion, Chef Richland and his associates, Chefs Sam, Nana Yaw Adu and Eddy, were inspired to conceive an innovative concept – the formation of a community of chefs committed to leveraging their culinary expertise to aid the underserved. This visionary concept came to fruition in 2018 as “Chefs With Purpose.”

Chefs With Purpose stands as a nonprofit humanitarian organization, devoted to furnishing a platform where chefs and culinary professionals can channel their talents towards alleviating socio-economic and catastrophic challenges faced by vulnerable communities across the globe. Collaborating with like-minded organizations, we undertake volunteering initiatives that harness our culinary skills to provide sustenance and assistance to these marginalized communities.
